Why I Started Dentì

I'm not a dentist. I'm not a scientist. I'm just someone who started asking questions I wasn't supposed to ask.

It started with my teeth.

I'd had sensitivity for years—the kind where you wince drinking water, avoid ice cream, and plan your meals around what won't hurt. My dentist kept recommending the same fluoride toothpastes. I used them. The sensitivity stayed.

Then I became a parent.

Suddenly, I was the person squeezing toothpaste onto a tiny brush twice a day. Reading the warning label. "If more than used for brushing is accidentally swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away."

Wait. Poison Control? For toothpaste?

My kid couldn't even spit yet. How much was she swallowing?

The Research Rabbit Hole

I did what any anxious parent does—I started Googling at 2 AM.

I learned fluoride accumulates in your body. That it was used to suppress thyroid function in the 1950s. That Japan replaced it 40 years ago with something called nano-hydroxyapatite and saw cavity rates drop.

I learned that n-Ha is literally the same mineral teeth are made of. That 50+ studies showed it works as well as fluoride—without entering your bloodstream.

Why wasn't anyone talking about this?

The Problem With "Natural" Toothpaste

So I switched. Bought every "natural" toothpaste I could find.

They were terrible.

My teeth felt filmy. My sensitivity got worse. My dentist raised an eyebrow when I told her what I was using.

I felt stuck between two bad options: fluoride that worked but scared me, or natural products that were safe but useless.

There had to be a better way.

Finding the Answer (In Japan)

That's when I discovered nano-hydroxyapatite toothpaste from Japan. Clinical-grade stuff. 5% concentration. The real deal.

Within a week, my sensitivity started fading. Within a month, it was gone.

I brought the jar to my dentist. Showed her the studies. She was skeptical at first—then she looked at my teeth. "Whatever you're doing, keep doing it."

I gave jars to friends. They had the same results. Parents felt relief. People with sensitive teeth could finally eat normally. Dentists started noticing improvements.

But there was a problem: it was expensive, hard to find, and most U.S. brands were using watered-down concentrations that barely worked.

Building Something Better

I'm not a chemist. I couldn't just make this myself.

So I found people who could.

I partnered with Dr. Sarah Chen, a holistic dentist in Beverly Hills who'd been recommending nano-hydroxyapatite to her patients for years. She introduced me to a team of dental researchers who'd published studies on n-Ha's remineralization effects.

We brought in cosmetic chemists who specialized in oral care formulations. We studied the Japanese brands that had been using this for 40 years. We tested concentration levels. We ran stability tests. We made sure every ingredient had a purpose beyond just "sounding natural."

It took 18 months to get it right.

The formula needed to deliver clinical-grade 5% nano-hydroxyapatite—the same concentration used in the studies. It had to work in tablet form without compromising effectiveness. It had to taste good enough that people would actually use it twice a day. And it had to meet every safety standard, even though we weren't required to have warning labels.

Why Dentì Exists

I started Dentì because I wanted what I couldn't find:

A toothpaste that worked as well as fluoride without the things that scared me. That I could give my daughter without checking the Poison Control number. That didn't make me choose between my health and my teeth.

We use the same 5% nano-hydroxyapatite concentration that's backed by decades of research in Japan. We put it in pre-dosed tablets so there's no mess, no waste, no guessing. We test every batch. We cite our sources. We offer a 60-day guarantee because we know it works.

This isn't a wellness trend. It's not a marketing gimmick. It's the toothpaste I wish I'd found ten years ago.

Our Promise

We're not here to shame you for using fluoride. We're not here to sell you miracle cures or make wild claims.

We're here for the parents reading warning labels at 2 AM. For the people who've tried everything for their sensitive teeth. For anyone who wants to make better choices without sacrificing results.

You deserve effective dental care without the trade-offs.

That's why we made Dentì.

Try it risk-free for 60 days. If it doesn't work, we'll refund every penny—even if the jar is empty.
